Up until now, Caracal pistols imported for sale on the U.S. market have been of the polymer-framed, striker-fired variety. For 2015, the company will be adding a line of steel-frame 1911 style single-action pistols chambered in .45 ACP. The first models to arrive will include a full size 5-inch barrel model and a Commander-sized model with a rounded grip frame. Fitted with textured G10 grip panels, the frames and slides will have a matte black finish with silver appointments. Pricing and the final specifications have yet to be announced.
