Professional sports and outdoors sportsmen have long been associated with one another, and now Louisville Slugger, the official bat supplier for Major League Baseball, has collaborated with Realtree to offer a personalized camouflage bat.

"Anyone who gets [one of these bats] is going to be proud to display it in their man cave, office, family room or den," said Louisville Slugger Director of Specialty Bat Sales Packy Page. "We've even heard guys say they can't wait to put their camo bat on their gun rack in their trucks."

The bats start out as high-grade maple, are crafted and then covered in Realtree Xtra Green camp print using a state-of-the-art hydrographic finishing process for a high-gloss finish. They are then precision laser-engraved, creating a unique gift item for outdoorsmen and women.

"We appreciate the passion so many people have for being outdoors because being in the forest is in our DNA at Louisville Slugger," Page said. "So, with the millions of people who hunt, fish, hike, and just love being outdoors, this collaboration with Realtree was a natural step for us at Louisville Slugger."

The bats, which sell for $89.99, can be ordered at sluggergifts.com.
