Smith & Wesson has launched its American Guardians Rebate Program. It is designed to offer a discount to military members, including veterans who have been honorably discharged, and first responders, allowing them to receive up to $150 in physical or virtual prepaid cards with a qualifying purchase of a Smith & Wesson firearm or Gemtech suppressor.

The program began Oct. 10, 2025, and runs through April 10, 2026. The offer, which is limited to one rebate per eligible new firearm or suppressor purchased, can be redeemed exclusively online at this webpage, where participants can also find the full terms and conditions. All individuals must have a GOVX account to be eligible for rebate submissions.

"Smith & Wesson values the first responders, law enforcement, military and public safety personnel that serve our great nation and uphold the freedom of its citizens,” said Matt Fehmel, Smith & Wesson senior director of global professional and international sales. “The American Guardians rebate program is our way of saying 'Thank You' to those heroes who serve the greater good of our country. The American Guardians initiative now features hundreds of products with significant savings back to you in form of a rebate.”

Individuals who may be qualified under this program include:

  • Sworn law enforcement officers (LEOs) at the state, county and local levels
  • Federal LEOs—FBI, U.S. Marshals, DEA, DHS, etc.
  • Corrections officers, including parole officers and probation officers
