Each year, Ruger introduces a new configuration of 22/45 pistol. For 2016 it’s an OD Green model with a ventilated barrel shroud—an attractive and lightweight addition to the 22/45 line. For those who don’t know, the 22/45 is a rimfire rendition of the classic M1911 pistol, albeit with modern aesthetics and construction. Its .22 Long Rifle chambering and adjustable sights make it great for training, target shooting and recreational plinking. Mark Keefe got a chance to hit the range with Matt Willson, a product manager for Ruger, to shoot and discuss the new pistol. Watch the video above.
