RRA BT3 Op ETR

Rock River Arms (RRA) offers modern sporting rifles in the AR-15 and AR-10 platform, with specific models tailored for specific purposes, from hunting to competitive shooting. The company's latest offering, the BT3 Operator ETR, is what the company calls a “professional grade” rifle, designed to provide “the utmost accuracy and reliability” for law enforcement and civilian users alike.

The BT3 Operator ETR is a big brother to Rock River’s LAR-15 Operator ETR. Like the 5.56 NATO version, it has a 16" chrome-lined barrel and low-profile gas block, which sits inside a 13" lightweight free-floating handguard with a Picatinny rail section on the top and M-Lok slots on the sides and bottom. Included are a M-Lok five-slot Picatinny rail section and QD swivel port. The charging handle is extended. Furniture is a Hogue beavertail pistol grip and a telescoping, six-position RRA NSP CAR buttstock. The trigger is Rock River’s two-stage ultra match unit.

Chambered for .308 Win., the BT3 Operator ETR uses Rock River’s billet-machined BT3 upper and lower receivers. The barrel has a 1:10" twist rate with its muzzle threaded 5/8x24 TPI and it’s capped with a A2-style flash hider. The direct impingement gas system is mid-length. The rifle weighs 8.2 lbs, and is 34.5" overall with the stock fully collapsed.

The Rock River Arms BT3 Operator ETR comes with a 1.5-m.o.a. accuracy guarantee for a three-shot group at 100 yards. Its MSRP is $1,970. For more information, visit rockriverarms.com.
