car thief chose the wrong vehicle to steal in St. Louis. The vehicle’s owner stopped at a gas station convenience store and left his car running. As he was shopping, he spotted another man entering the car. The car owner left the shop and confronted the would-be car thief, who pulled out a gun and pointed it in the direction of the owner. The owner pulled his own firearm and exchanged gunfire with the thief, shooting him. The thief fled in another vehicle to a hospital, according to news reports. Armed Citizen Extra
A man with a gun entered the wrong home in Botetourt County, Va. His second mistake was threatening a resident with said firearm, and demanding the woman's car keys. Not one to comply so easily however, the woman shouted for another resident, which prompted the intruder to begin firing. The second resident retrieved a gun and returned fire, however, hitting the man in the neck. The would be-burglar/car jacker was in stable condition when police arrived.
