Ruger has rolled out a PC Carbine chambered in 9 mm with interchangeable magazine wells that allow the use of many common Ruger and Glock magazines. An SR-Series Pistol and Security-9 magazine well is installed at the factory, but an additional unit for Glock versions is also included.

The firearm can be taken down for easy transport or storage, although at only 34.37" in overall length, it’s not going to take up much room in the safe. The barrel is fluted, 16.12" long, and one of the two models available comes threaded (protector installed) for muzzle devices.

The stock is a glass-filled, black synthetic. It features a soft rubber buttpad and ships with three, half-inch spacers that allow shooters to adjust length of pull from 12.62" to 14.12". Sights are an adjustable ghost ring at the rear and a protected blade up front. Both the magazine release and charging handle are reversible.

An accessory rail allows mounting of lights/lasers below the barrel and the stock has a pair of sling swivel studs. The threaded-barrel version has a 17-round capacity, although the other model comes in at 10. Both rifles tip the scales at 6.8 lbs.

The dead blow action’s bolt is machined from heat-treated, chrome-moly steel and features a custom tungsten dead blow weight, which shortens bolt travel, reduces perceived recoil and minimizes muzzle rise. Barrel rifling is six groove, 1:10" RH.

MSRP, regardless of flavor, is $649. Visit Ruger’s webpage for full details.
