Barrett Announces Fieldcraft Hunting Rifle

Best known for its long-range tactical rifles, Barrett has introduced a bolt-action rifle that caters to the hunting market. The Fieldcraft features a stainless steel barrel, stainless-steel receiver and stainless-steel bolt that are hand bedded into a carbon-fiber stock, making for a lightweight yet durable, all-weather hunting rifle. 

The rifle, which will be on dealers’ shelves in fall 2016, will be available in both right-hand and left-hand versions and several major calibers, including .243, .22-250, 7 mm-.08, .308, .270 .25-06, and .30-06. The rifle will also feature an adjustable timney trigger. MSRP is $1799.
