If you own the popular Kel-Tec PMR-30 pistol, the new CMR-30 will feel familiar, as the Carbine Magnum Rimfire chambered for .22 WMR is essentially the rifle version of the pistol, even accepting the same 30-round magazines. It also features the identical single-action trigger mechanism, bolt stop, ambidextrous safety levers, and mag catch. A threaded 16” barrel accepts a variety muzzle attachments, and a multi-position collapsible stock (made with aluminum stock rods) allows for lengths ranging from 22.7” to 30.6”. Two picatinny-style rails—a long one on top for an optic of your choice, and an under rail—are standard. Lefties will appreciate the ambidextrous operating handles, which are non-reciprocating and latch in the forward position. An integral sling loop is included near the rear of the grip, on both sides.
