the G30S... this is a G30SF with a G36 slide. So close to what I want!! Now, if only I can convince them to create the "G30S XT"... as above but with a G23 length grip with a G27 style bottom. The gun would be no taller than it is now, it would create a better grip and get rid of the gawdawful mag lump.

I recently acquired a 30S to add to my sidearm collection. IMHO there similar in characteristics to the 4th generation G-27. However the 30S has a slightly wider slide & grip than the 27 which makes it awkward to CC. It could be shooter preference but the 30S seems to have more of a crisp trigger pull. I have put 2-300rds down range with mine and it has all the characteristics that we have all came to rely on from our Glock's! I would recommend the 30S to anyone looking for a .45 sub-compact! I prefer the G-30 over a Kimber Pro Carry II, but my shooting style may vary from others. To all there own! When my life is in jeopardy I truck nothing more than my Glock whether that be a model 17 or my most recent addition. My Family & I rely on Glock for our CC sidearm of choice I advise you & yours to do the same!! Happy shooting.....
