For 2019, Iver Johnson is making available a pint-sized, four-barrel, .22 Long Rifle-chambered pepperbox derringer. Made of all-steel construction, the single-action derringer will be offered in three SKUs, each with a different name depending on the coloration of the stock panels: Pocket Ace (Oak Dymondwood), Maverick (Black Dymondwood) and Quad Ace (Rosewood Dymondwood). A three-position safe lever is found on each side of the pistol’s frame. In the center position, the gun is safe; when swept down, the gun is made ready to fire, and when swept up, the derringer’s barrel assembly freely slides forward off of the frame, allowing for re-loading of the barrels.
