No Rail Please, Can't carry a light anyway. If you want a bedside gun with a light rail, get a bedside gun.

I own a R-1E (enhanced model) and it is one of the finest shooting pistols I have ever shot. Remington is making an outstanding product. Try one out and you will be hooked for life. Oh, by the way ERPC the company that is making the 1911 R-1 is owned by Remington, so. On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for ERPC. This trademark is owned by RA (Remington Arms)Brands. ERPC = Elipahet Remington Pistol Company. Eliphalet Remington AKA Eliphalet Remington, Jr. Is the founder of Remington Arms, he was a farmer and blacksmith and left a fantastic legacy which we enjoy today. I am a fan of Remington and own many of their products. This 1911 line will be no exception, it will be right up there with the Model 700 and 870 lines and will too have a long history.

Looking good. Now all you have to do is bring the factory to Michigan. We are all set up and waiting with open arms. Keep up the great job.

Why not show a close-up of the pistol in the video? Why is this gun NOT on the Remington website? Why not add an integrated light rail? A lot of people like to add a light or laser to their carry gun.
