Pistol Wear Holsters

Pistol Wear’s patent-pending concealed-carry holsters use an integrated adjustable belt system that is not dependent on the user’s clothing.

In use by the U.S. military and various government agencies, Pistol Wear’s patent-pending concealed-carry holsters are constructed from a body-conforming cushioned material that completely encloses the gun so that it does not touch the user’s skin.

An integrated adjustable belt system means that the holster’s function is not dependent on the user’s clothing, and a simple retaining strap allows noise-free access. The comfortable, lightweight designs are solvent-resistant and include a built-in perspiration barrier.

Bought one of these holsters a couple of years ago because I sometimes use a chair when shopping or at events that cover a large area. It isn't a rigid holster like leather or kidex(?) so it doesn't poke you in the side when you lean over. Under sweats or a long-tail shirt your weapon is undetectable. If worn low on the belly, even close-quarters crowds are no problem. Access, however, is somewhat compromised although the nylon stiffeners keep your weapon free from binding in the pouch itself. Retention of your weapon is very good even if you were to take a tumble. After all, the primary intended use appeared, from the ads, to be for carry while jogging. I have actually worn it with a S&W .40 Shield all day driving, sitting, eating and socialising with no discomfort. Used as intended, it has no real equal.

Found the link when I went back and re-read the article. Note to self: Double check before shooting off the mouth. It can be as dangerous as firing a gun without checking the backstop.

It would be nice to have a web address so that a reader could go directly to the company's web site without having to do a google search first.
