The SOB2 is useful for anyone wishing to minimize the profile of a large-frame semi-automatic such as the M1911 as it discreetly nestles the gun into the hollow next to the small of the back. Retention is by way of the holster’s gun-conforming fit, a result of wet blocking and hand molding to a specific firearm design.
