Midwest Industries .45-70 Cal. Muzzle Brake

The .45-70 Gov’t cartridge is a more potent hunting option than ever before, but the recoil it generates can be daunting even for the non-recoil-sensitive.

The American-made .45-70 Cal. Muzzle Brake from Midwest Industries (available threaded 5/8x24 TPI or 11/16x24 TPI) helps considerably in this regard, as its two-chamber design helps mitigate felt recoil by allowing ignition gases to escape laterally.

Made from tool steel and given a corrosion-resistant phosphate finish, the brake is timed to its host rifle via an included crush washer.

MSRP is $53. For more information, visit midwestindustriesinc.com.
