Surprise, surprise, after an extended review process with virtually no transparency, SIG Sauer’s P320 pistol has been selected as the winner of the XM-17 or Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition. Joe Kurtenbach gives a brief background regarding this historic process, after all, the M9—Beretta’s 92FS—has served American warfighters well for more than 30 years.
