FN America Wins Contract to Supply U.S. Army

FN America has received a new contract from the Department of the Army to build M240 B, C, D and H machine guns and spare receivers for the U.S. Army. Awarded on Dec. 9, 2014, the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ), which are used when the precise number of products needed during the contract period can’t be determined by the government beforehand, includes four one-year ordering periods and a total value not to exceed $84.6 million.
