Beretta has announced its newest competition pistol, the Beretta 92X Performance. Unveiled at the 2019 IWA Outdoor Classics show in Nuremberg, Germany, the pistol will make its North American debut at the 2019 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Ind., held from April 26 to 28.

The Beretta 92X Performance is fashioned around a Vertec steel frame and a heavier Brigadier profile slide to better absorb recoil. The hammer is skeletonized for faster cycle times, and is paired with a competition standard hammer spring. Moving downward, the pistol is equipped with an ambidextrous frame safety available in three different profiles, and utilizes the Exreme-S trigger mechanism in an attempt to decrease trigger reset.

Unloaded, the 92X Performance weighs in at 2.98 lbs., and its $1,399 MSRP includes two 15-round magazines with included rubber bumpers. For more information, please visit beretta.com.
