World War II Heroes to Sign Books/DVDs at Seminar

At American Rifleman’s seminar “The Greatest Pistol in the World: 100 Years of the U. S. Model of 1911,” two distinguished World War II veterans who will speak during the session, also will be available before and after the presentation to sign books, DVDs and autographs.

Marine & Rifleman–Sidney C. Phillips, Jr.

NRA Life member Sidney C. Phillips, Jr., joined the U.S. Marine Corps on December 8, 1941, and he saw fierce combat action in the Pacifi c, including Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester and Pavuvu. He has shared his experiences on the PBS documentary “The War” and has been featured in HBO’s “The Pacific.” Now retired, Dr. Phillips is a humble hero and an example to us all.
