ProMag released a 18-round magazine for the Glock 44 chambered in .22 LR, nearly double the capacity of the standard magazine that comes with the handgun.

Until December 2019 the only options for a rimfire “Glock” were either a conversion unit that mates a rimfire slide and barrel assembly to a stock Glock center-fire frame or one of the .22 pistols on the market from other manufacturers with a vaguely similar profile.

GLOCK owners seeking to shoot rimfire ammunition through their favorite handgun have long had to rely on aftermarket conversion kits of dubious quality and reliability, but those days are finally over.
