New for 2022, FN America announces the released of an updated version of its Five-seveN pistol, the Five-seveN MRD, which is optic ready.

KelTec offers a new unusual handgun for the 5.7x28 mm FN market with the P50 pistol, which feed from FN PS90 magazines and folds open to reload.

While the 5.7x28mm cartridge has seen a resurgence in 2020, there have been attempts to make it into the mainstream before.

The process for bringing a new editor onto the staff of American Rifleman usually involves reviewing previous written work, various tests of editing skill and firearm knowledge, then, of course, interviews.

The promotions originally scheduled to close at the end of this month are extending for another 30 days after record-setting participation.

Last week, I, along with a few other editors from NRA Publications, had the opportunity to meet with representatives from FNH USA at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Gerrardstown, W.Va., to get some hands-on time with a few of the company’s newer firearms, along with a couple of its more popular platforms—the SCAR and the Five-seveN.
