Stag Arms of New Britain, Conn., opened shop as a maker of AR-15-type rifles back in 2003—specializing particularly in left-side-ejecting models in order to better accommodate the left-handed segment of the gun community—but it wasn’t until 2017 that the company took its first crack at the larger AR-10-style platform.

A new chapter in the history of Connecticut gunmaker Stag Arms opened on Feb. 29, 2016, when it was announced that it had been acquired by White Wolf Capital, LLC.

Connecticut-based Stag Arms, LLC, and the company’s owner and founder, Mark Malkowski, have both pled guilty in federal court to violating federal firearms law.

Stag Arms is now offering its 16-inch AR-15 carbine rifle in 300 AAC BLK / 7.62x35 mm caliber.
