Now that NRA is the engine behind the Great American Outdoor Show, there are plenty of firearms to sample from the Firearms Hall. Take a look at a few that caught the eye of American Rifleman's Christopher Olsen.

Every 13 seconds in the United States a firearm is used in self-defense. And every time a firearm is used in self-defense, even just the brandishing of it, there will be an investigation.

Sprawling over 650,000 square feet of exhibit space, the show features nearly 1,100 hunting, fishing, shooting sports, archery, boating, RV, and outfitter exhibits.

Now that the Shooting Sports Hall has become an increasingly important fixture at the Great American Outdoor Show, attendees are enjoying exhibits from many top firearm manufacturers affording close-up viewing hundreds of current models, including some of the newest to hit the market.
