I have had a hammer shotgun in the closet for many years, 40 or more. Recently, I installed a new stock to replace the broken stock, polished the barrels and brought the Damascus back to life along with new springs for the lever and hammers. The original stock was highly figured English walnut. Can you tell me more about it?

Can you identify this .36-caliber percussion pistol? It has no serial number or markings of any kind, save the number 17 on two of the parts. I did not completely dismantle it.

Where can I find a rear sight and elevation ramp for a Model 43 Winchester? Or will a buckhorn style for a Model 94 work?

I have recently joined the ranks of folks owning Mosin-Nagant Model rifles, in particular a Model 91/30 in 7.62x54 mm R. I have experienced an occasional problem with extraction, which generally appears after the gun has warmed up. Can you recommend anything that might be done to eliminate this problem, or is it a design feature that has to be accepted?

I have an old box of Winchester-Western Super X .38 Colt hollow-point ammo. On the side of the box is “Lubaloy coated Bullet special dry wax lubricant.”  It seems to me that most modern ammunition is not coated. Why is it (or was it) necessary to put some form of wax on ammunition?

I was at a gun store and saw an Enfield No. 4 rifle that looked to be a pretty standard model to me, except it had a pointed stacking swivel. I have never seen one like this before and was wondering if you could tell me something about it. Is this some odd variant, or is it a common one that I have just never seen before?

I was attempting to sight-in a Winchester Model 94 side-eject rifle in .30-30 Win. using a telescopic sight. The shots printed high with the elevation cranked all the way down. Am I right to conclude that placing shims under the front telescopic sight base should correct this problem?
