For more than a century, Savage Arms has kept its customers shooting with a variety of traditional sporting arms. Now it has an updated logo and a new series of MSRs—in this case, Modern Savage Rifles—based on the AR-15 design.

Built on the 6.5 Creedmoor case and “necked-down” to hold a .243 diameter bullet, this round shoots fast and flat.

Savage Arms has introduced the MSR 15 Competition rifle, now on dealers' shelves.

Savage has expanded its line of award-winning MSRs, introduced in 2017, to include the MSR 10 Competition HD and MSR 15 Competition models.

The introductions include several caliber additions and model upgrades to Savage’s existing center-fire and rimfire product lines.

Not many modern sporting rifles were chambered for the .224 Valkyrie cartridge when it was officially unveiled at the 2018 SHOT Show, except for the Savage MSR 15 Valkyrie.
