The NRA Foundation, the sole Platinum Level Sponsor for USA Shooting, demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the nation’s talented athletes as they prepared for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The Foundation awarded more than $750,000 in the last three years alone to USA Shooting, support aimed at aiding the athletes on the National Team, National Development Team and the National Junior Team.

In 2022, the foundation awarded $252,000 to USA Shooting specifically for shotgun ammunition. The next year, it provided an additional $250,000 to bolster the Olympic and Paralympic Programs, earmarked for essential expenses, including team travel, athlete training and support, ammunition and targets, event fees and uniforms. Then, earlier this year, the Foundation granted another $250,000 to further assist Team USA in its final preparations for the Paris Games.

“In preparation for the Paris Olympics, the NRA Foundation’s support has been instrumental in facilitating overseas competition experiences for our athletes,” said USA Shooting CEO Kelly Reisdorf. “These opportunities are invaluable, as they provide our team with essential exposure to international competition settings and diverse tactical challenges.”

As a Platinum Level Sponsor, The NRA Foundation delivers the highest level of support and sponsorship to USA Shooting, which is the national governing body for Olympic shooting sports in the United States. The investment has significantly enhanced training opportunities, provided state-of-the-art equipment, and supported developmental initiatives that are crucial for the success of American shooting athletes on both national and international stages.

“The NRA Foundation is proud to partner with USA Shooting to show our support for the Olympic and Paralympic athletes competing in the Paris 2024 Games,” Tyler Schropp, former executive director of The NRA Foundation said. “Shooting sports in the Olympics embody a celebration of precision, skill and global unity. By including disciplines that demand unparalleled focus and athleticism, we showcase the diversity of human talent and the shared pursuit of excellence, fostering a connection between tradition and the ever-evolving spirit of the Olympic Games."
