Fear & Loading: 100 Chances to Win a Springfield Armory 911 .380 ACP Pistol

Springfield Armory and seven more of the firearm industry’s finest have teamed up to create special, everyday carry packages that will be given away to 100 lucky winners. There is no cost to enter, but don’t delay—the contest ends Feb. 28, 2018.

Certain terms and conditions apply, which can be found at EDCGiveaway.com. The web page is also where you can enter by simply providing your name, e-mail address, date of birth and zip code.

Each person drawn will receive a Springfield Armory 911 .380 ACP pistol, six- and seven-round magazines and a hat to match the new battery at the range—where the 250 rounds of American Eagle .380 ACP FMJ ammo will come in handy. Each winner will also receive 25 paper targets from Action Target and a Proper range bag to haul the gear to the firing line. Thanks to the included Viridian Weapon Technologies Grip Laser, it won’t take long to get on target, though.

They call it an EDC Giveaway for a reason, though. That’s where the included 100 rounds of Federal Premium Personal Defense HST cartridges—a much better choice for carry—come in. A Founder’s Series MiniTuck IWB holster secures the rig securely, comfortably and discreetly.

If you need to expand your knowledge base, the Personal Defense Network medical and skill development drill DVDs included will provide a great resource from the comfort of home. As if all of this isn’t enough to make the point that you should register for the drawing, a 1660KT Kershaw Leek knife for your everyday backup is part of the package.

Winners will, literally, get everything they need to practice until they’re confident and ready to carry. If things go up-close-and-personal awry, you even have a backup means of giving the felonious assaulter a case of the leaks. Total value of the giveaway is $150,000 and, when I carry over the one into the next column, I think that comes to $1.5K per winner.
