When it comes to handguns, what do women really want? What guns fit their hands best? What do NRA Instructors need to know when it comes to women and gun selection? What lessons can be learned from female NRA Certified Instructors? American Rifleman’s Ann Y. Smith set out to answer those questions with a project that involved 35 women shooting 18 different guns—many of them touted as “female friendly.” But what does that mean and what did she learn? Attend the American Rifleman special presentation,"Ladies Pistol Project," at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta, Sunday, April 30, 2017, (1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., Room B210) and find out for yourself. Can't make the NRA show this year? No worries, the Ladies Pistol Project is also the subject of an upcoming American Rifleman article and ARTV episodes for the 2017 season. Check out a preview here.
