Springfield Armory to Donate XD(M) Pistols at 2016 National Matches

Springfield Armory will donate up to 20 new Springfield XD(M) 5.25” pistols at the President’s Pistol Match on July 17, 2016, during the National Matches at Camp Perry. Springfield Armory has become a familiar figure at these matches by providing donations to commendable competitors for the past 35 years.

According to a press release from the gun manufacturer, those who place in the Top 100 and fire the 20 highest scores using a Springfield XD or XD(M) during the match are eligible to receive one of the donated pistols.

The XD(M) 5.25” polymer pistol features the longest slide and barrel of any XD(M) series gun. Additionally, the pistol is fitted with a fully-adjustable rear sight and fiber-optic front sight to allow for quick sight acquisition. Other characteristics include a match-grade barrel, minimal-reset trigger and mega-lock frame texture.
