Beretta Defense Technologies: Making the Ultimate Integrated Weapons System

Get a behind-the-scenes look at Beretta Defense Technologies' (BDT) journey to create the ultimate integrated weapons system by tuning into the Sportsman Channel on Sat., April 23 from 5 to 6 p.m. EST for a special episode highlighting the story of BDT, a strategic alliance of four industry-leading manufacturers—Beretta, Benelli, Steiner and Sako—which are owned by Beretta Holding.

Cameras go inside the walls of these four companies to reveal never-before-seen footage showing their inner workings. See how BDT builds a weapons system that unifies the operator, firearm, optics, cartridge and support equipment to give customers the confidence to reliably hit any target, control any situation, and accomplish any mission.

“The mission of BDT is to create a safer world,” said Stephen McKelvain, Chief Global Marketing Officer for Beretta’s Optics Division. “We advance the success of our customers working in complex modern operational environments. We understand the deep, and sometimes subtle, interoperability issues where each piece of equipment must seamlessly interact with the other. BDT minimizes the compromises to operational effectiveness at the individual, unit and organizational levels.”

BDT meets the needs of military and law-enforcement personnel worldwide as a single point of contact, offering integrated weapons systems solutions comprised of tactical small arms, daylight optics, electro-optics, ammunition, clothing and accessories. Its strength comes from the combined R&D, engineering, manufacturing and technological capability of the four companies, each a world leader in the defense market.
