Beretta USA has added 5-time Olympic medalist Kim Rhode to its competition shotgun team. Rhode won her first gold in 1996 at age 17 and a third gold medal in 2012, becoming the first American in any sport to win five consecutive medals. She hopes to continue this winning streak with the new team and a Beretta DT11.
"I'm thrilled to become part of the Beretta family," said Kim Rhode. "A love of shooting and the outdoors has been passed down for generations in my own family just like it has at Beretta for 500 years. With the recent birth of my son, it's a tradition I look forward to passing on to the next generation. At the Olympic Games in London I was fortunate to hit 99 out of 100, and with the help of Beretta, and my new DT11, I intend to get that one that got away next time in Rio 2016!"
Kim's debut as a member of Team Beretta happens this weekend as she competes in the 2013 USAShooting Shotgun National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
