Remington Releases Express Air Rifle, Offers Holiday Discount

For the first time since 1928, Remington has released an air rifle-and the company is kicking off its launch with a holiday rebate, to boot. The new Remington Express Air Rifle, which is modeled after the iconic Model 700, is here, and will be available at a discounted rate of $149 this holiday season.

The spring-piston break-barrel action Remington Express .177 Caliber Air Rifle features a tapered, extended rifled barrel, full-length checkered real hardwood stock designed after the Model 700, a fitted rubber recoil pad, 4x32mm scope and mounts and traditional 3/8-inch Dovetail, allowing the option to fit a suitable picatinny rail.

With its 1,000-fps performance, the Express is intended for target shooting and small vermin. It's equipped with a two-stage precision trigger, auto/reset safety, fiber optic front sight and fiber optic adjustable rear sight. The whole package measures out to 45.5-inches long, and weighs in at 8.3 pounds.

Express Air Rifles purchased from ShopRemingtonCountry.com before Dec. 19 will receive free shipping, and also come with a pair of free gifts: a Sportsman Series Insignia Edition Knife, and the consumer's choice of any of the nine Rem Wrap Camo Patterns available for the rifle.
