Springfield Armory Lightweight Operator Review

I had this Operator for a month now and experienced no FTF or any other issues. I usually carry a Ruger SR9C but I missed carrying a full sized 1911 minus the weight. This fits the bill since I carry this most of the time now. The only thing people need to be aware of that it is a carry gun not really a range pistol. If you want a Range pistol then I would recommend any of the steel models. +P ammo is not recommended because of the aluminum alloy frame but you can get a good 230 grain JHP rounds for your LW 1911. This won't be my last Springfield Armory 1911 since this is my favorite handgun compared to my all steel Remington R1 Talo 1911. I plan on buying the M.C. Operator next. BTW don't let other people scare you from getting this because they say the recoil is more and is unpleasant shoot. I've shot over 500 rounds out of it and it is a enjoyable shooter. The recoil is just a little bit more but it was still controllable to shoot. I would recommend watching this review on the LW Operator on Youtube (http://youtu.be/nhEvNQ2R-nI).
