I am a proud owner of the R-1 1911 Enhanced. It is one of the finest shooting pistols I have ever held in my hands, with the tolerances so tight the accuracy is fantastic. It is as accurate as pistols twice the price, and the handling, balance and recoil are pleasant surprise, but coming from Remington it shouldn't be. I am going to pick up another one as soon as I can.
