Regarding the article in the September 2012 issue, “Ruger’s Dynamic Rimfire Duo”; while well written, with good detail; the Shooting Results Table raised my eye browses. First, the Velocities results appear to be reversed for the two guns from what one would expect, i.e., higher for a much shorter barrel with a cylinder gap. Second, the Energy number for Federal Gold Medal cartridge is lower for a higher velocity (same bullet weight). Any explanation would be appreciated.
