Associate Editor Wendy LaFever is a firearms enthusiast who enjoys plinking and target shooting. She joined NRA Publications in February 2005 as part of the staff of Woman’s Outlook, later working with American Hunter magazine before assuming the mantle of editor for NRA InSights magazine. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. A former Army dependent, she crossed the Lower 48 seven times before her tenth birthday and still loves to travel.
