The Gunsite “draw stroke” presentation with a single-action revolver is slightly different than with a double-action or an M1911. From the article "Single-Action Shootout at Gunsite."
Great article. Having mentioned packing a single action for protection in bear country, I was quickly corrected about the danger of having to cock a gun under duress. My thought/comment is that if one trains with their single action, this should not be a problem.
