If there’s one thing that SHOT Show made apparent to AmericanRifleman.org editors, it was that the only things in trouble during a Zombie Apocalypse... would be the living-dead. Manufacturers throughout the industry unveiled zombie-slaying gear of all shapes and sizes, and this gallery highlights some of the most interesting (and occasionally chuckle-worthy) zombie warfare accessories available.

Richard: Why the emphasis? Business people sell things that consumers think are cool. There are quite a few items on the market(that have nothing to do with the undead) that are silly but people make them because other people want to buy them. JOHNDOE: Yes it is functional

"Zombie apocalypse"...that's getting run into the ground just like the overuse of the word "awesome". Sick of hearing both. How about "Alien Apocalypse"....there's a much greater chance, although considered slim by many, of other world aliens invading Earth than the dead rising up.

Can someone tell me why so much emphisis is put on ZOMBIES? I think this is something for 10 yr olds. Why do grown gun owners and TV shows place so much into ZOMBIES? Seems very silly to me, with so much crime on the streets with live people?
