NRA Publications Editorial Director John Zent explains the most recent expansion of Winchester's PDX personal defense ammunition line with the PDX1 Defender. The Defender is a .223 bullet composed of two different layers that, when working in tandem, help to overcome many of the inherent self-defense problems that a high-velocity round like .223 can present.
