The New SIG Sauer SIG M400

The New SIG Sauer SIG M400

4/29/2011

SIG Sauer Rifle Product Manager Dave Grimshaw talks about the brand new SIG M400 platform, launched at the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Pittsburgh. The M400 is SIG's newest AR platform, similar to the SIG 516, save the gas impingement operation of the M400.

In addition to the SIG M400, Dave also spends a little time promoting the NRA Annual Meetings show special of the complete SIG 516 upper for a limited-time low price to all attendees.

The holes are for a sling. Sig moved the sling off the buttstock. Not sure what the triangular piece is. Maybe some sort of deflector.

What is the purpose of the elevated holes at the back of the lower receiver? Also, why is ther a triangular shaped part behind the ejection port? I am a benefactormember.
