I prefer the Henry Mini-Bolt .22LR. Bought one for both of my boys. Single shot, stainless barrel and synthetic stock. Accurate, reliable, and easy to maintain.

This gun is a perfect first gun. Gave one to my son when he turned 5 and he loves it. I added a bipod and he can shoot prone or bench.

I purchased one for my 10 year old grandson. I think he will enjoy it. He has been using some of my guns but this should fit him better.
