MidwayUSA's founder Larry Potterfield announced several new initiatives at the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits. First, Potterfield is personally starring in a line of safety vignettes that take viewers through the various steps in firearm safety. Potterfield also announced that MidwayUSA's Round-Up program, in which customers can round up their order total to help support the NRA Endowment for the Protection of the Second Amendment, has surpassed $6 million. The NRA-ILA utilizes the interest from this account to help fight anti-gun legislation across the country. Building upon the successes of the Round-Up program, MidwayUSA took the opportunity to launch the 12*12*12 program, which allows customers, using the product code "121212," to donate $5 to the NRA Endowment for the Protection of the Second Amendment, up to 20 times per invoice. The Potterfield family will match these contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $100 per invoice. It will run through the important election cycle of November, 2012. In addition to initiatives to help the NRA, MidwayUSA is also expanding its hunting selection to include archery products and crossbows from popular manufacturers like Bear Archery, PSE, Quest, Barnett, Carbon Express, Excalibur, Horton, Inferno, Parker, TenPoint and many more, as well as the blinds, treestands, camoflauge, arrows and other accessories that accompany these products.
All of these products and programs are available at MidwayUSA's website.
