Kel-Tec KSG

10/8/2012

The name K-S-G simply stands for Kel-Tech Shotgun, and that’s fair, since this pump action is the company’s very first foray into the tactical shotgun market.

In addition to being a bullpup, the KSG features dual magazine tubes, each offering a capacity of six 3" shotshells or seven 2¾" shells. On top of its unusual design, the KSG ejects empty shells downward instead of towards a certain side.

An innovative addition to the company's product line, the KSG is ideal for those looking for a tactical home defense shotgun, and lives up the mantle of Gun of the Week.

Technical Specifications:

Caliber: 12 gauge
Barrel Length:
18.5"
Total Length: 26.1"
Capacity: 6+6+1 (3" Shells)
Weight Empty: 6.9 lbs.
Weight Loaded:
8.5 lbs.
Height:
7"
MSRP:
$880

I have put about 400 rounds through mine and i have not had a single problem. Real tame recoil. Slugs are accurate out to 100 yards easily. My 140lb 5'3' wife likes shooting this shotgun and no other.

Would like to hear current feedback on this weapon. Mainly about reliability. That is one thing kel-tec has had issues with in the past. Or any links with people who have fired or own one of these. I want to purchase one but would like to hear more current reviews before I do. Thank You Team America Out!!!!
