Colt Mfg. Reintroduces Gold Cup

The first Colt Gold Cup pistol, originally called the National Match, was introduced in the 1950s as a gun that competitive shooters could take directly from the dealer’s shelf to the firing line, and soon became the standard for competition guns. The gun was discontinued in the late 90s, but Colt Mfg. is receiving high praise from Colt enthusiasts for reintroducing the Gold Cup as an enhanced pistol for today’s action shooting.

AmericanRifleman.org contributor Sheriff Jim Wilson gladly welcomed the reintroduction of this gun at SHOT Show 2012, and we caught up with him for a closer look to see what all the excitement is about. Watch the video and go to coltsmfg.com for more information.
