SIG Sauer P224

Concealable guns continue to be among the hottest products at any gun shop, but SIG Sauer wanted to deliver something a little extra with the P224.

Something of a scaled-down version of the company's popular P229, the P224 is small, lightweight and easy to keep on your person, which are the minimum requirements for a concealed-carry firearm. It also sports chambering up to .40 S&W and can support 10 or 12 round magazines—giving it the power and capacity to serve as your "anytime" gun, too.

The P224 is a reliable, potent firearm that's suitable at your side or protecting your home, and it was an easy decision to make it a Gun of the Week.

P229's etc, all have 'suggested retails' for well over $1,000+. But what is the actual price in the store? Check the suggested retail for any/all guns you just mentioned, the SR will be higher than what you paid. The discounts will be similar. Will you pay more for a Sig, yep, but 3MM rounds prove it is a superior gun

I Love my P229 and it shoots a lot further than 20', Accurately. I can't believe the 224 won't do the same, it's not that much shorter. Guess I will have to get one and find out for myself. $700 would be a better price.

I will keep my kahr pm40 it is flawless, and much lighter. I do own and enjoy my Sig P229 40 very reliable but to heavy for a CCW.

I have 4 Sigs including P229 and didn't pay a $1000 for any one of them, NEW! This seems to be exact copy miniturized of a P229 even the mags interchange. It weights too much to carry as a back-up and I see no advantage over the P229. Sig has over priced the P224, period! NO reason to cost so much it's still made out of a can!!!
