New Products from Kel-Tec

Kel-Tec is always good for an innovative new release or two, and its booth at SHOT Show 2013 didn't disappoint.

The company was showing off a pair of upcoming rifles—one of which we'll feature here—and some of its more popular in-production models. Lead Design Engineer Tobias Obermeit stopped to show us the soon-to-be-released RMR-30 and the already popular RFB Rifle.

The RMR-30 is expected to hit the market in mid-2013, and will be chambered in .22 Mag. It's lightweight and features a collapsible stock, and Kel-Tec is pitching it as an ideal target rifle or small-game gun.

RMR-30 Technical Specifications:

Caliber: .22WMR
Barrel Length: 16"
Overall Length: 22.5" to 29.9"
Weight Loaded: 4 lbs.

My question is: Why isn't there another company making the sub 2000's, pmr 30's and rmr 30's to fill the void left open by Kel Tec?????

Banking 101:show the bank proof of demand for your products---> they lend you the money to expand.this company is ridiculous and is the definition of insanity.(smashing their head against the wall multiple times each times expecting a different result)

This may be strange coming from a consumer, but... Kel Tec should raise their prices! Econ 101. If you can't meet demand, raise prices. Then you either reach equilibrium or you can use the extra profit to increase production.

"The RMR-30 is expected to hit the market in mid-2013" *Snorts* Last I read this was "expected to hit the market" in early 2012. ...and Im sure that when it does finally arrive, it'll be in sufficient numbers to keep dealers from charging 3x the MSRP, right?

Why is it that Kel-Tec cannot seem to produce weapons fast enough to meet demand? This has been going on with them for years. I would love to own a couple of sub-2000's but they might as well not even advertise them.

Maybe they should clear their PMR 30, and Sub 2000 backlog before bringing something new we will never own to the table!
