The Team Savage long-range shooting team has something to be proud of as they wrapped up the final two competitions of the season at the International Fullbore Championships in Chilliwack, B.C. and the Pacific International Fullbore Championships outside Portland, Ore. The team, consisting of shooters Darrell Buell, John Weil, Monte Milanuk and Stan Pate, won multiple medals in both matches, and captured Team Gold at the Canadian match and Individual Gold and Silver in the Super Aggregate, or combined total across the two competitions.

Team Savage's breakout performance was in the Pacific International Fullbore Championships, where John Weil won all seven Gold medals and teammate Stan Pate won six Silver medals. Weil also set a new national record at 1000 yards with a score of 148-4X.

THIS IS NO SURPRISE. SAVAGE HAS BEEN MAKING GUNS OF ABOVE ACCURACY FOR MANY YEARS. I BOUGHT MY GRANDSON A BOLT ACTION SAVAGE 22 FOR ABOUT 100 BUCKS AND IT IS AS ACCURATE AS MY HENRY AT MORE THAN TWICE THAT COST. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I WOULDN'T TRADE MY HENRY FOR ANYTHING IN ITS PRICE RANGE AS IT IS A FUN GUN TO OWN. HOWEVER, THE LITTLE SAVAGE CANNOT BE BEAT FOR ACCURACY AT THREE TIMES THE COST. THANKS SAVAGE. MY GRANDSON LOVES IT AND WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR MY HENRY AND I'M GLAD.
