Taurus Protector Polymer Revolver

Taurus has announced The Protector, a polymer-mixed frame revolver chambered in .38 Special +P and .357 Mag.

Taurus, the firearms manufacturer that created the innovative Judge, has just announced another revolver: The Protector series in polymer.

The Taurus Protector Polymer series is a hybrid-polymer framed revolver with a 2.5-inch barrel, able to hold 5 rounds and chambered in either .38 Special +P or .357 Mag. The Protector Polymer series follows hot on the heels of the Judge Public Defender in Polymer.

This gun is heavier than I thought it would be. It's heavier than my S&W airweight and my 38 bodyguard.

My wife and I both own one. We have found that at 7-10 yards the Poly Protector is very accurate. We both have CCW and carry the Poly Protector.

i ordered a protector ply model 85ply82 about 7-8 weeks ago and havent heared when they will be available.
