Springfield Armory Launches Pistol Contest
Springfield Armory 2011 Duel pits the XD (M) Compact and the new Springfield Range Officer against one another, with contest giveaways and more.

Springfield Armory was on hand at the 140th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Pittsburgh to launch a contest that allows users to vote for their favorite of Springfield's two most popular pistols—the XD (M) Compact and the new Springfield Range Officer—by pitting the handguns against one another in a popularity contest. Hosted on SpringfieldDuel.com, users are encouraged to vote for their favorite pistol daily. The grand prize, awarded to the top voter, is one of each pistol. In addition to the grand prize, voters can win one of hundreds of daily prizes, including the pistols themselves, throughout the course of the contest.
