Ruger Sets $1 Million Goal for Challenge

Sturm, Ruger & Co. has pledged to donate $1 to NRA for every gun sold between the 2011 and 2012 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits, with a goal of $1 million.

Manufacturer of the recently released SR1911 and Gunsite Scout Rifle, Sturm, Ruger & Co. has pledged to donate $1 for every gun sold between the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Pittsburgh and the 2012 Annual Meetings in St. Louis, with the goal of donating $1 million if Ruger sells 1 million firearms.

The donation will benefit the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), dedicated to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
